Stop the eviction: 2 months of rent for Quang's family in Thủ Đức
A notice to vacate arrived last week. Quang needs $500 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Thủ Đức.

Following a long illness in the family, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Friday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $500.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by February, we must leave.
I have three school-aged children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $500 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $170
• Rent arrears (2 months): $290
• Late fees and court costs: $40

this could happen to any of us. Love from Lexington.
Looking forward to the next update. After 21 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Wishing you the best, Quang. Shared it with a few friends. Greetings from Paris
