Stop the eviction: 2 months of rent for Paul's family in Dar es Salaam
After a divorce, Paul is 2 months behind on rent and has a termination letter from the landlord.

When the construction firm closed in April, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a termination letter was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $150.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by June, we must leave.
I have two young children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working extra hours at a market stall, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $150 goes:
• Late fees and court costs: $30
• First month of rent as a buffer: $85
• Utilities in arrears: $35

Best of luck, Paul. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out.
So sorry you're going through this. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings

Thinking of you. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Thinking of Dar es Salaam
Rooting for you, Paul. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 13 years in social work I know how hard it is to ask for anything. God bless.
Wishing you peace, Paul. This could happen to any of us.
