Stop the eviction: 2 months of rent for Pari's family in Noida
The closure of the factory left Pari short on rent for 2 months; help us stay in our home.
🇮🇳 Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India1,009 views
Following a long illness in the family, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Monday a court summons for non-payment was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $450.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, we must leave.
I've 1 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $450 goes:
• Rent arrears (2 months): $250
• Late fees and court costs: $55
• Utilities in arrears: $20
• First month of rent as a buffer: $125
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Praying for you, Pari. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I'm in nursing myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
