Start-up fund for Upendo: reopening a phone repair counter after a storm that collapsed the roof
Upendo has run a phone repair counter for four years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $600 will put it back on its feet.

For four years I have run a phone repair counter in Embakasi. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $600 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $120
• Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $340
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $140
Thank you so much.
