Start-up fund for Unathi: reopening a phone repair counter after a break-in
Unathi lost a soldering station and testing tools to a break-in and needs $600 to reopen a phone repair counter and support the family.

For twelve years I have run a phone repair counter in Gqeberha. In February, a break-in took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $600 goes:
• Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $360
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $145
• Shop repairs and licensing: $55
• Working capital for the first month: $40
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
