Start-up fund for Sérgio: reopening a barbershop after a long illness and repossession
Sérgio lost clippers, chairs and mirrors to a long illness and repossession and needs $1,050 to reopen a barbershop and support the family.

For six years I have run a barbershop in Campinas. In November, a long illness and repossession took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $510
• Initial stock: supplies: $210
• Shop repairs and licensing: $130
• Working capital for the first month: $200
Thank you for reading my story.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Sérgio!
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors is the biggest at $510. Let me know if you want more detail.
Sending strength, Sérgio. Small businesses are the heart of Campinas. Hope you're open again soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Campinas
