Start-up fund for Senait: reopening a fish stall after the demolition of the market
Senait has run a fish stall for nine years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $500 will put it back on its feet.

For nine years I have run a fish stall in Mekelle. In October, the demolition of the market took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $320
• Initial stock: the first catch: $60
• Shop repairs and licensing: $35
• Working capital for the first month: $85
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Hang in there. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. God bless
