Start-up fund for Nadia: reopening a barbershop after a fire in the building
Nadia has run a barbershop for six years; a fire in the building destroyed the equipment, and $350 will put it back on its feet.

For six years I have run a barbershop in Paarl. In July, a fire in the building took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $350 goes:
• Initial stock: supplies: $90
• Working capital for the first month: $165
• Shop repairs and licensing: $95
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
