Start-up fund for Murat: reopening a bicycle repair shop after floodwater
Murat lost a full set of tools to floodwater and needs $850 to reopen a bicycle repair shop and support the family.

For three years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Ankara. In February, floodwater took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $850 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $390
• Initial stock: spare parts: $125
• Shop repairs and licensing: $135
• Working capital for the first month: $200
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thanks for sharing this. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Love from Heliopolis.
Shared it with a few friends. I hope June is when things finally get easier. Thinking of Ankara.
keep going, Murat. Hope you make a strong comeback. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
So sorry you're going through this, Murat. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Thrissur donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Ankara.
Wishing you the best, Murat. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My husband and I read this together. All the best.
