Start-up fund for Mega: reopening a phone repair counter after the demolition of the market
Mega has run a phone repair counter for six years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $450 will put it back on its feet.

For six years I have run a phone repair counter in Jakarta Selatan. In March, the demolition of the market took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $450 goes:
• Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $180
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $120
• Shop repairs and licensing: $70
• Working capital for the first month: $80
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Small businesses are the heart of Jakarta Selatan. Hope you're open again soon. After 25 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Phuket
