Start-up fund for Ji-yeon: reopening a fish stall after the demolition of the market
A fish stall in Seoul needs help replacing a freezer and scales after the demolition of the market.

For nine years I have run a fish stall in Seoul. In June, the demolition of the market took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,900 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $1,050
• Initial stock: the first catch: $350
• Shop repairs and licensing: $210
• Working capital for the first month: $290

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Ji-yeon?
Thank you. If you're in Seoul I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Fair thing to want to know.
Sending strength. Hope you make a strong comeback. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from London
Good luck, Ji-yeon. Hope the shop reopens soon. We're a small family in Shreveport but we're thinking of you.
So sorry you're going through this, Ji-yeon. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Praying for you. Hope this works out for you. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless
You're not alone. Small businesses are the heart of Seoul. Hope you're open again soon. Greetings from Tucson
Praying for you, Ji-yeon. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
Keep going, Ji-yeon. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
