Start-up fund for Iqra: reopening a bicycle repair shop after a long illness and repossession
Iqra has run a bicycle repair shop for nine years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $350 will put it back on its feet.

For nine years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Peshawar. In August, a long illness and repossession took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $350 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $170
• Initial stock: spare parts: $55
• Shop repairs and licensing: $35
• Working capital for the first month: $90
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

keep going, Iqra. I hope things turn around soon. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless.
