Start-up fund for Débora: reopening a phone repair counter after a fire in the building
Débora lost a soldering station and testing tools to a fire in the building and needs $450 to reopen a phone repair counter and support the family.

For fifteen years I have run a phone repair counter in Ribeirão Preto. In July, a fire in the building took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $450 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $210
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $160
• Shop repairs and licensing: $80
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Ribeirão Preto.
So sorry you're going through this, Débora. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Lahore
