Start-up fund for Arun: reopening a neighborhood bakery after a fire in the building
Arun has run a neighborhood bakery for nine years; a fire in the building destroyed the equipment, and $400 will put it back on its feet.

For nine years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Rajkot. In May, a fire in the building took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $400 goes:
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $85
• Replacing a commercial oven: $220
• Shop repairs and licensing: $95
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Gave what I could, wish it was more. Thinking of Rajkot.
Hope you make a strong comeback. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
