Start-up fund for Anisur: reopening a fish stall after a fire in the building
Anisur has run a fish stall for four years; a fire in the building destroyed the equipment, and $250 will put it back on its feet.

For four years I have run a fish stall in Cox's Bazar. In August, a fire in the building took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $250 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $130
• Initial stock: the first catch: $40
• Shop repairs and licensing: $55
• Working capital for the first month: $25
Glad we found this place.

Hope things get better soon, Anisur. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Magelang donated after I showed her your page
