Start-up fund for Aditi: reopening a barbershop after the demolition of the market
Aditi lost clippers, chairs and mirrors to the demolition of the market and needs $300 to reopen a barbershop and support the family.

For fifteen years I have run a barbershop in Prayagraj. In October, the demolition of the market took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $300 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $100
• Initial stock: supplies: $85
• Shop repairs and licensing: $115
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

thinking of you and your family, Aditi. Your post was clear and honest. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Hope it all works out, Aditi. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
Thanks for sharing this, Aditi. Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Prayagraj.
you're not alone, Aditi. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We're a small family in Rawalpindi but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
Hope it all works out, Aditi. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
