Shafiq was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in July. The oncology team at Bogra Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Shafiq is 31, worked as a shop owner until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bogra Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
