Standing with Reem: early-stage lung cancer treatment costs

Reem was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in February. The oncology team at Dammam Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Reem is 35, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Dammam Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $4,400 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,650
• Scans and lab work: $490
• Transport to Dammam Regional Medical Center: $440
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $260
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,560
