Nneka was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in December. The oncology team at Asaba Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in February. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Nneka is 36, worked as a construction supervisor until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Asaba Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,600 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $220 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,200 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $50 • Transport to Asaba Regional Medical Center: $130 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Favour

      • Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Nneka.
