Standing with Mehwish: stage 2 breast cancer treatment costs

Mehwish was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in April. The oncology team at Faisalabad Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Mehwish is 58, worked as a construction supervisor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Faisalabad Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
