Meena is facing stage 3 ovarian cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Meena was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in June. The oncology team at Mumbai University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Meena is 51, worked as a farmer until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mumbai University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $860
• Scans and lab work: $240
• Transport to Mumbai University Hospital: $110
