Lotte was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in August. The oncology team at The Hague University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Lotte is 45, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to The Hague University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
