Standing with Karim: stage 2 breast cancer treatment costs

Karim was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in August. The oncology team at the Thane Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Karim is 33, worked as a bus conductor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Thane Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
