Jyoti was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in May. The oncology team at Mumbai University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Jyoti is 33, worked as a construction supervisor until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mumbai University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $550 goes: • Scans and lab work: $180 • Transport to Mumbai University Hospital: $105 • Household costs while unable to work: $265 Thank you so much. - Sanjay
