Standing with Hang: stage 2 breast cancer treatment costs
Supporting Hang through stage 2 breast cancer: medication, transport to Wollongong University Hospital, and living costs while He can't work.

In June I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. My oncology team at Wollongong University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in October. I was told to expect about 5 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 29, I worked as a taxi driver until June, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to Wollongong University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $9,300 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,750
• Transport to Wollongong University Hospital: $440
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,110
Thank you so much.

You're not alone, Hang. Hope you get there. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
