Worcester
Ella was diagnosed with kidney cancer in March. The oncology team at the Worcester Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Ella is 35, worked as a nurse until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Worcester Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $6,650 goes: • Transport to the Worcester Oncology Institute: $860 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,400 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $440 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,950 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
