Standing with Dustin: early-stage lung cancer treatment costs
Dustin is facing early-stage lung cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Dustin was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in March. The oncology team at the Liverpool Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Dustin is 26, worked as a bakery worker until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Liverpool Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $7,900 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,700
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,250
• Scans and lab work: $950
