Standing with Danielle: stage 2 breast cancer treatment costs

Danielle was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in August. The oncology team at Half-Way Tree Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in December. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Danielle is 44, worked as a hairdresser until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Half-Way Tree Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
