Standing with Claire: early-stage lung cancer treatment costs
Claire is facing early-stage lung cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Claire was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in March. The oncology team at Derry Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Claire is 39, worked as a nurse until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Derry Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
