Standing with Citlali: cervical cancer treatment costs

Citlali was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August. The oncology team at Coyoacán Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Citlali is 25, worked as a bank teller until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Coyoacán Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
