Anton was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in April. The oncology team at Stockholm Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Anton is 43, worked as a bank teller until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Stockholm Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $9,550 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,750 • Scans and lab work: $830 • Transport to Stockholm Cancer Centre: $510 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $560 • Household costs while unable to work: $900 Thank you so much. - Britt

  • Good luck, Britt. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best

    • Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 20 years in customer support I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Take care.

      • Stay strong. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings

        • Take care, Britt. Hope the doctors have good news. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too

          • Hang in there. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money

            $0 raised of $9,550
