Andrea was diagnosed with prostate cancer in March. The oncology team at Tuxtla Gutiérrez University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Andrea is 36, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Tuxtla Gutiérrez University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,700
• Scans and lab work: $510
• Transport to Tuxtla Gutiérrez University Hospital: $220
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $230
• Household costs while unable to work: $490
