Standing with Alamin: early-stage lung cancer treatment costs
Alamin is facing early-stage lung cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Alamin was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in February. The oncology team at Noida Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Alamin is 45, worked as a taxi driver until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Noida Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,150
• Transport to Noida Cancer Centre: $150
• Household costs while unable to work: $185
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $65

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. chemotherapy and medication not covered is the biggest at $1,150. I'll keep the page updated.
