Addison is facing non-Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Addison was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in November. The oncology team at Los Angeles Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Addison is 56, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Los Angeles Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $15,000 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $8,500
• Scans and lab work: $1,950
• Transport to Los Angeles Cancer Centre: $1,050
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $880
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,620
