Siyabonga's final semester of a degree in social work in Soweto
Siyabonga is one term away from finishing a degree in social work but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $1,550.

Siyabonga is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in social work at Soweto State College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,550.
The registrar has said Siyabonga can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Siyabonga has a first-class average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Siyabonga would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Siyabonga isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Soweto State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
