New Delhi
For four years I have run a barbershop in New Delhi. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go. Where the $600 goes: • Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $220 • Initial stock: supplies: $150 • Shop repairs and licensing: $80 • Working capital for the first month: $150 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Shruthi

It's all in the list in the story. replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors is the big one at $220, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Thanks for asking.
