Setagaya typhoon relief - the families of Greenfield Lane
After the typhoon, families in the families of Greenfield Lane need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The typhoon hit the families of Greenfield Lane on 8 November. My home was one of 81 damaged, and 12 families are still in temporary shelter at a mosque and church hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $6,350 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $2,550
• Clean water and purification supplies: $890
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $760
• Food parcels for displaced families: $1,150
• Tools and labor for repairs: $1,000
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

thanks for sharing this, Yuma. More neighborhoods should do this. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best.
Is there anything that isn't money that would help Yuma?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about roofing sheets and timber, advice is welcome too. Ask me anything else.
Hope this works out for you. After 13 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless.
Keep going, Yuma. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless.
