School supplies and a laptop for Ziad in Shubra
Ziad won a place at Shubra International School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇪🇬 Cairo, Egypt257 views
I earned a place in Grade 9 at Shubra International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $200, which is more than we have.
I love robotics and want to become a nurse. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $200 goes:
• Laptop: $115
• Textbooks and workbooks: $40
• School uniform and shoes: $45
Every share and every dollar helps.

Hope things get better soon, Ziad. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless
Best of luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'll check back for the next update.
Take care. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Thinking of Shubra.
thinking of you and your family. Hope this works out for you. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
