School supplies and a laptop for Mwende in Nakuru
Help Mwende begin the first year of senior school with a laptop, uniform and books.
🇰🇪 Kenya738 views
I earned a place in the first year of senior school at Nakuru International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $100, which is more than we have.
I love design and technology and want to become an engineer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $100 goes:
• School uniform and shoes: $35
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $20
• Textbooks and workbooks: $45
Glad we found this place.

your post was clear and honest. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home!
good luck, Mwende. I hope things turn around soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless.
Sending strength, Mwende. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. God bless
Gave what I could, wish it was more. Thinking of Nakuru.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Newcastle.
