School supplies and a laptop for Janet in Mombasa
Janet won a place at the Mombasa Selective School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

Janet earned a place in Form 4 at the Mombasa Selective School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $200, which is more than they have.
Janet loves biology and wants to become an engineer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $200 goes:
• Laptop: $120
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $15
• Textbooks and workbooks: $65
With deep gratitude,
Njeri
