School supplies and a laptop for Jamal in Birmingham
Jamal won a place at Birmingham Technical College but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom1,182 views
Jamal earned a place in Grade 9 at Birmingham Technical College, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $1,050, which is more than they have.
Jamal loves graphic design and wants to become a marine biologist. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Laptop: $540
• School uniform and shoes: $85
• Textbooks and workbooks: $300
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $125
With deep gratitude,
Zahra
