School supplies and a laptop for Jae-won in Rockford
Jae-won earned a place in Form 4 at Rockford Science Academy; we're $1,000 short on required supplies.
🇺🇸 United States2,908 views
Jae-won earned a place in Form 4 at Rockford Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $1,000, which is more than they have.
Jae-won loves biology and wants to become an architect. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Laptop: $410
• School uniform and shoes: $125
• Textbooks and workbooks: $340
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $125
Thanks for being kind about this.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Jae-won.
Sure. The biggest one is laptop, $410. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Fair thing to want to know.
thanks for sharing this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Odesa.
Thanks for sharing this, Jun-seo. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
Good luck, Jun-seo. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. God bless.
