Duque de Caxias
I earned a place in Grade 9 at Duque de Caxias Girls' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $300, which is more than we have. I love graphic design and want to become a nurse. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $300 goes: • Laptop: $175 • School uniform and shoes: $65 • Textbooks and workbooks: $50 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $10 I hope life is good to you. - Gabriela
