I earned a place in the first year of senior school at Tamale Girls' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $50, which is more than we have. I love chemistry and want to become a nurse. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $50 goes: • Textbooks and workbooks: $30 • School uniform and shoes: $15 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5 Every share and every dollar helps.
