School supplies and a laptop for Farhana in Rajshahi
Farhana won a place at the Rajshahi Selective School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Year 11 at the Rajshahi Selective School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $150, which is more than we have.
I love mathematics and want to become a pilot. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $150 goes:
• Laptop: $90
• School uniform and shoes: $25
• Textbooks and workbooks: $30
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Take care. Shared this with my family. My husband and I read this together!
Thinking of you, Farhana. This could happen to any of us. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings.
