Caio earned a place in Year 11 at São Paulo Science Academy; we're $300 short on required supplies.

I earned a place in Year 11 at São Paulo Science Academy, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $300, which is more than we have.
I love design and technology and want to become a teacher. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $300 goes:
• Laptop: $165
• School uniform and shoes: $35
• Textbooks and workbooks: $95
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Good luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 18 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
Praying for you, Caio. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
Thanks for sharing this, Caio. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn.
Wishing you peace, Caio. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. I'll check back for the next update. Blessings.
