School supplies and a laptop for Bakari in Kasarani
Bakari earned a place in Year 11 at Kasarani Science Academy; we're $100 short on required supplies.

I earned a place in Year 11 at Kasarani Science Academy, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $100, which is more than we have.
I love graphic design and want to become a nurse. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $100 goes:
• Textbooks and workbooks: $55
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $15
• School uniform and shoes: $30
I hope life is good to you.

Thinking of you and your family, Bakari. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'll check back for the next update.
Sending strength, Bakari. I hope things turn around soon. Take care.
Keep going. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of Kasarani.
