Sunny is my senior cat of eleven years. On 19 July we rushed to the Gold Coast Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,000. They have stabilized Sunny, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Sunny is more than a pet - Sunny is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $260 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to the Gold Coast Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Sunny's recovery.
