Save Rosie: Logan can't afford the emergency vet
Rosie, Logan's senior cat, needs urgent treatment for a foreign object blocking the intestines costing $2,250.

Rosie is my senior cat of thirteen years. On 25 July we rushed to Leicester Veterinary Centre with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,250.
They have stabilized Rosie, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Rosie is more than a pet - Rosie got me through my hardest year. I have already put $280 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Leicester Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Rosie's recovery.
Where the $2,250 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,400
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $580
• Medication and follow-up visits: $95
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $175
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
- Logan

Good luck, Logan. Give Rosie a hug from me. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care
Hope things get better soon. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from São Paulo.
Thanks for sharing this. We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. I'll check back for the next update.
