Save Rocky: Madhu can't afford the emergency vet
Rocky, Madhu's three-legged dog, needs urgent treatment for kidney failure costing $450.

Rocky is my three-legged dog of nine years. On 23 August we rushed to Mumbai Animal Hospital with kidney failure. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $450.
They have stabilized Rocky, but the treatment can't wait beyond December.
Rocky is more than a pet - Rocky is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $50 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Mumbai Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Rocky's recovery.
Where the $450 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $270
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $90
• Medication and follow-up visits: $35
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $55
